XRP continues to lead the Korean market, ranking first in Upbit's trading volume

XRP continues to maintain significant trading activity in the Korean cryptocurrency market. On September 11, the XRP/KRW trading pair ranked first on the Upbit Exchange trading rankings. Cryptography researcher BankXRP disclosed relevant data, showing that XRP still maintains a strong turnover rate despite the decline in overall trading volume.

BankXRP pointed out that Upbit's total 24-hour trading volume on September 11 was US$1.02 billion, down 18% from the previous day. Despite a decrease in overall exchange activity, XRP/KRW trading pairs still account for 9.02% of Upbit's total trading volume. The pair's 24-hour volume was US$95.15 million, making it top of the exchange's trading board during that session.

BankXRP said: "Upbit's $XRP/KRW trading pair performed strongly."

The researcher also emphasized the importance of XRP's performance in the Korean market and concluded at the end of the post: "The Korean market continues to support XRP."

Sep 11: Upbit's total 24h volume came in at $1.02B down 18% from the day before, but XRP/KRW still topped the board at 9.02% of that volume, moving $95.15M.Korea keeps showing up for XRP.

XRP remains Upbit's main trading pair

Data shows that XRP remains actively trading on Upbit, one of South Korea's major cryptocurrency exchanges. Even if Upbit's total transaction volume drops to $1.02 billion, XRP still contributes nearly one-tenth of the platform's daily turnover.

The accompanying Upbit data also shows that XRP/KRW ranks first among the listed spot markets. In the rankings displayed, XRP surpassed Ethereum and Bitcoin, further confirming the trading activity surrounding the Korean Won-denominated XRP market.

Screenshots show that on the XRP/KRW trading pair, XRP is priced at US$1.38, and in the snapshot shown, the market's 24-hour volume is approximately US$171.87 million. At the time, XRP accounted for 13.7% of the exchange's displayed total 24-hour trading volume.

These figures differ from the September 11 figures cited by BankXRP. This suggests that the screenshot captures another independent market snapshot. However, both indicate that XRP/KRW is one of Upbit's most active markets.

South Korean traders continue to favor XRP

BankXRP's post puts September 11 numbers in its perspective on XRP's position in the South Korean market.

The transaction volume of US$95.15 million indicates that the token maintained substantial trading activity during a day when Upbit's overall trading volume shrank. XRP's position on Upbit has also been a focus during a period of increased market activity. Data accompanying BankXRP analysis points to a surge in late August, when daily XRP/KRW volume exceeded $418 million.

For BankXRP, data on September 11 shows that XRP has strong trading strength in South Korea. Despite the decline in total daily trading volume, the XRP/KRW trading pair remains the dominant market for the exchange, making XRP firmly among the most actively traded assets on Upbit.
