The XRP chart released by cryptocurrency analyst ChartNerd raises misunderstandings: the actual trend is bullish rather than bearish
Cryptocurrency analyst ChartNerd (@ChartNerdTA) released an XRP chart with a bearish title on the X platform. "XRP will still be headed for zero," he wrote, and the chart shows the asset struggling below a downtrend resistance line with a downward arrow that hints at a sharp decline.
This post uses a log-scale K-line chart covering the period from 2014 to forecast 2028. At first glance, the red downtrend line and white arrows pointing downward seem to indicate that XRP prices will fall further. However, a closer look at the chart reveals that the opposite is true.
What the chart actually shows
This chart is "flipped". The price scale extends from the low value at the top to the high value at the bottom. This means that the so-called "downward resistance" is actually "upward support". The analyst had previously cited a July 2024 chart claiming that XRP would return to zero, and that chart also used a flipped price scale. This analysis showed that this pattern still holds.
The red trend line in the chart is actually support, not resistance. The green arrow marks a successful test of the support level rather than a rejection signal from above. On the first trend line (roughly spanning the period from 2013 to 2017), XRP finally achieved a Massive breakthrough in 2017 after four support tests. During the cycle, prices soared from fractions of less than a penny to more than $3.

The second trend line seems to be repeating the previous structure. It starts around 2019 and extends into 2027. XRP has tested this support level five times and has been supported every time. Current prices are around $1.37. The white arrow on the chart points to the $7.50 position on the flip scale, indicating that this is the next target price derived from the current structure.
ChartNerd did not clearly list specific price targets in this post. However, the trajectory of the arrow on the flip chart is aligned with the $7.50 level. His previous analysis had set a target price of as high as $27. This means that at current levels, the potential increase could be between 447.45% and 1,870.8%.
TimesTabloid1 (@TimesTabloid1) June 15, 2025XRP's future outlook
ChartNerd displays a pattern that directly compares the current cycle to the 2013-2017 structure. In the early cycle, four support tests were followed by major price expansions. Currently, on the corresponding trend line, five support tests have been confirmed in the current cycle.
The current structure lasts longer and has more support tests, which may mean greater price volatility when breakthroughs occur. The chart predicts that the breakthrough will develop in 2026 and continue into 2027.
