The September 18 action does not remove BREV, COOKIE, Lagrange's LA or Quant's QNT from the Binance spot market. Binance clearly stated that removing spot trading pairs "will not affect the availability of tokens in the Binance spot market." After the closure of four USDC trading pairs, customers can still continue to trade underlying and denominated assets through other supported markets.

For example, BREV still retains the BREV/USDT transaction pair in the currency. CoinGecko currently lists Binance's BREV/USDT as one of the main active markets for the token, alongside other trading platforms such as Bitunix and OKX. In the latest CoinGecko data snapshot, the BREV price is approximately US$0.0735, and the global 24-hour transaction volume is approximately US$3 million.

COOKIE also retains the COOKIE/USDT spot trading pair in the currency store. The exchange's trading page lists the market separately from the USDC trading pairs planned to be removed. In the latest available transaction page data, COOKIE carries Binance's "Monitoring Tag", which is a tag Binance uses to identify assets that require more frequent and regular review.

Lagrange remains available via LA/USDT. Binance initially opened spot trading in LA in July 2025, when it provided USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD and TRY trading pairs. The September 16 announcement only stated the removal of LA/USDC and did not announce the complete removal of Lagrange.

Quant also retains the QNT/USDT trading pair on the coin. Current exchange data shows that the QNT/USDT order book is still active, and CoinGecko lists Binance as one of the largest independent markets for QNT trading.

When Binance decides to stop supporting an asset entirely, a separate process is used. According to reports, Binance has previously completely removed Across Protocol, Hashflow, PIVX, Vulcan Forged PYR, Vanar and Viction from spot trading. In that case, all spot trading pairs associated with these six tokens were closed and there was a separate deadline for withdrawals.

The September 18 notice did not include a similar withdrawal deadline for BREV, COOKIE, LA or QNT, nor did it indicate that deposits would cease. It specifically involves four USDC markets and their related spot trading robot services.

Another recent example is Pax Dollar (USDP). According to reports, Binance is preparing to completely remove USDP from spot trading on September 24, followed by setting a withdrawal deadline in November. The process affects multiple Binance products and services, which is different from the narrower USDC deal pair action announced this week.

Since restoring a set of USDC markets in December 2023, Binance has used the USDC market extensively. At that time, Binance resumed USDC trading in assets including ADA, ARB, AVAX, DOT, SOL and XRP, after its liquidity was mainly concentrated in other stablecoins.

For BREV/USDC, COOKIE/USDC, LA/USDC and QNT/USDC, the next confirmed event is the trading stop at 03:00 UTC on September 18. Binance has told users of spot trading robots connected to one of these four markets to update or cancel them before this time.
