CoinEx因市场低迷和合规成本上升，运营九年后宣布关闭

CoinEx宣布将于2026年9月15日起有序停止运营

成立于2017年、隶属于ViaBTC集团的全球加密货币交易所CoinEx今日宣布，将停止运营并启动有序的清算程序。公司指出，此举是由于数字资产市场经历了长期的低迷期，行业交易量与流动性持续萎缩，且合规成本已“超出合理范围”。

CoinEx表示，清算流程将于2026年9月15日正式开始。提币通道将保持开放直至2026年12月22日（UTC+8），此后平台将彻底关闭。CoinEx强调，其资产储备比例保持在100%以上，所有用户余额均有全额支持并可随时提取。公司已在其网站上公布了储备金证明。

该公告发布于官方CoinEx Global X账户及交易所官网，被标记为平台的最终官方通讯。公司警告称，任何在此之后以CoinEx名义发布的消息均应被视为欺诈行为。如有疑问，用户应通过现有的工单系统联系客服。

CoinEx清算时间表

此次清算遵循严格的时间表：

• 9月15日：停止新用户注册；终止推荐佣金及其他奖励；期货市场进入“仅减仓”模式；平台停止接受法币服务、杠杆交易、贷款、Earn产品、质押及策略交易的新的订阅或订单。
• 9月22日：所有非现货服务关闭。链上充值将暂停，但CET代币的充值可继续至9月29日。未平仓的期货合约将以指数价格强制结算。未偿还的贷款将按照现有的清算规则处理，剩余抵押品将退还给用户。Earn和质押产品将批量赎回，收益按产品规则计算。
• 9月29日：现货交易将持续至此日。当日，未成交的现货订单将被取消。剩余的除USDT以外的资产将进行如下处理：流动性强的代币将在外部市场出售并转换为USDT；流动性差的代币将被下架，用户在截止日期后若仍持有这些代币，需自行在链上提现。CoinEx智能链（CSC）和OneSwap去中心化交易所也将停止运营。

从9月15日至9月29日期间，平台将以每个代币0.005 USDT的固定价格回购剩余的CET代币，不设数量上限，也无其他附加条件。在此窗口期结束后，平台将自动以相同价格回购用户账户中剩余的CET。该回购价格与CET首次上市时的价格一致。

提币、托管与独立产品说明

在整个清算期间，提币渠道均保持开放，且不依赖于交易产品的关闭。CoinEx敦促用户尽早转移资金，并警告称，区块链拥堵、费用变化或确认速度变慢可能会导致最后时刻的转账复杂化。

Users must withdraw USDT by December 22. After this date, unwithdrawn USDT will be transferred to a separate escrow account. A monthly escrow fee of 5% of the original balance at the end of the withdrawal period will be charged. Claims can be emailed to support@coinex.com until August 22, 2028.

CoinEx Wallet and CoinEx Vault operate independently of the exchange and are not affected by this closure and can still be used normally.

Statement from founder Haipo Yang

Haipo Yang, head of ViaBTC Group and founder of CoinEx, said in a separate post that the decision was the result of difficult evaluation. He wrote that CoinEx has never been the industry's leading exchange, and the security and compliance risks of operating centralized platforms have become increasingly difficult to control. "Revenues may fall, but responsibilities will not be reduced. Taking unlimited risks for limited income is no longer a rational choice."

Yang said he seriously considered selling the business, but eventually abandoned the path. He believes that users entrust assets to CoinEx out of trust in the platform and their individuals. Transferring that trust to the new owner is not the right way to end the journey. He said a "clean ending" would be preferable. The company promises to provide full coin withdrawal services and repurchase unlimited CET at the initial listing price.

Background and industry comparison

The closures occurred after CoinEx had been in operation for nearly nine years. CoinEx was launched at the end of 2017 and relies on ViaBTC's mining pool infrastructure to serve users in more than 200 countries around the world. It was one of the first exchanges to issue reserve certificates and maintain a 100% reserve policy. The platform later faced regulatory pressure, including a 2023 settlement with the New York Attorney General that led to its withdrawal from the U.S. market; and a 2023 hot wallet theft that analysts believe was linked to North Korea's Lazarus Group.

In 2026, several other centralized exchanges will also withdraw or stop operating due to reasons such as reduced transaction volume and increased compliance burdens. CoinEx's announcements were extremely specific in terms of dates, asset conversions, token repurchases and post-deadline custody, which was in sharp contrast to some sudden or incomplete closures that led to chaos among users during the shutdown.

Practical advice for current customers is to convert or withdraw positions as early as possible before December 22, treat any unofficial "update policies" as fraud, and make it clear that wallets and Vault products are not covered by exchange closures. CoinEx said ensuring users safely recover assets is now its top priority. The company thanked users for their nine years of support and stated that it would not issue further official announcements.
