Taurus completes integration with Swift blockchain ledgers
Digital asset infrastructure company Taurus has completed the integration of its tokenization and custody platform with Swift's blockchain-based ledgers, opening up a path for institutional customers to use bank-issued tokenized deposits for cross-border payment settlement.
Taurus said on Wednesday that its customers can now connect their existing digital asset infrastructure to Swift ledgers to make payments with tokenized deposits. The first institutional customer integrations are expected to be online within a few days, while the first distributed ledger technology (DLT) transactions processed through the Taurus platform are expected to occur in the next few weeks.
