Bitcoin's selling risk ratio has dropped to an all-time low, and the profit-taking wave after the August rally has slowed down.
According to Glassnode's latest online data, Bitcoin's selling risk ratio (SSRR) has dropped to one of the lowest levels in history. This shows that the wave of profit-taking that accompanied the sharp rise in prices in August has basically subsided.
Key Data and Background
Glassnode pointed out in its latest issue of The Week Onchain newsletter that between late August and early September 2026, Bitcoin's sell-risk ratio dropped from 16 to 7. The significant decline came after BTC broke through a multi-month high of $80,000 in late August, gaining about 25% for the month.
