Ethereum co-founder supports proposal to reduce the cost of quantum secure privacy transactions
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has publicly supported a proposal that aims to reduce Gas fees for quantum secure privacy transactions from approximately 10 million to tens of thousands, a drop of more than 99%. He expressed his hope to include this content in a future network upgrade called "I-star".
On Wednesday, September 9, Butrin announced support for the proposal and pointed out EIP-8288. The proposal was co-written by him and Thomas Coratger in June this year. This proposal aims to solve the huge computing overhead that post-quantum cryptography currently brings to Ethereum transactions.
