AVAX United Arab Emirates has launched a major transformation of its digital identity infrastructure. The UAEPASS "digital wallet" will be migrated to a dedicated blockchain based on Avalanche technology.
The United Arab Emirates (hereinafter referred to as the "United Arab Emirates"), a popular global destination such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is committed to attracting tourists and residents from all over the world. At the same time, the country has also embarked on an important change in the field of digital identity infrastructure construction. The United Arab Emirates has a national-level digital identity system, UAEPASS, which has millions of users. The infrastructure of its core component, Digital Wallet, is about to migrate to a dedicated blockchain network developed based on Avalanche technology. This initiative aims to provide a faster, more secure and uninterrupted delivery experience for domestic digital services.
Supported by the new system, government agencies and private companies will be able to verify user-submitted documents with greater efficiency and reliability. This not only simplifies the document review process in bank account opening, corporate operations and various official applications, but also aims to significantly reduce user waiting time and improve overall service efficiency.
Why choose Avalanche technology?
阿联酋决定在UAEPASS框架下管理已验证文档的“数字钱包”基础设施时，选择了Avalanche技术。根据相关决策，预计政府机构和私营部门在使用文档验证流程时将实现显著提速。UAEPSS系统允许公民、长期居民以及游客以数字化方式访问各类官方文件，并能在数秒内完成验证。鉴于该系统广泛应用于从银行开户到企业事务处理的众多领域，此次技术升级显得尤为重要。
新基础设施的主要目标是确保在高并发交易时段也能提供稳定、可靠且高速的验证体验。阿联酋电信和数字政府监管局（TDRA）在声明中指出，虽然目前的数字钱包基础设施已采用区块链技术，但为了进一步提升速度与可信度，最终选定Avalanche作为底层技术支撑。
评估报告强调：“为确保数字钱包基础设施具备更高的运行速度与可靠性，我们选择了基于Avalanche的系统。” Avalanche凭借其高吞吐量处理能力及可定制的网络架构，成为阿联酋数字身份基建的理想选择。此举不仅展示了区块链技术超越加密货币支付范畴的应用潜力，更证明了其在公共服务及数字文档验证领域的实用价值。
独立运行的专属网络保障稳定性
值得注意的是，新的数字身份基础设施并不会直接连接至Avalanche主网。相反，它将运行在一个利用Avalanche技术开发、拥有独立架构的专属区块链上。这种隔离设计旨在防止因主网交易拥堵而导致UAEPASS文档验证过程出现延迟、卡顿或服务中断。通过构建这种独立结构，系统在高峰期仍能保持交易的稳定性和高效性。
对于约1250万用户使用的UAEPASS而言，交易速度、数据可靠性及系统连续性至关重要。专属网络模式不仅实现了数字身份数据的受控管理，还为满足政府和企业的定制化需求提供了灵活空间。此外，该架构预期能更轻松地适应日益增长的用户基数和交易量，从而让用户能够以更快速、更安全的方式验证公私部门的各类文档。

在传统模式下，机构往往需要耗费大量时间从不同来源核实文档的真实性。随着基于Avalanche的数字钱包基础设施落地，这一繁琐过程有望得到极大简化。政府和企业将能通过UAEPASS更迅速地获取已验证文档，从而有效缩短银行开户、公司注册及官方申请等环节的时间成本。
