币安撤回申请
Binance ultimately withdrew Greece's application before the Greek Capital Markets Committee issued a formal rejection order. On June 24, the company said it would instead seek authorization in other EU member states.
Binance said it had "constructive and good-faith cooperation" with the Greek Capital Markets Committee and committed to continuing its commitment to European markets. This incident adds a new chapter in Binance's efforts to operate under the European unified crypto regulatory framework.
This Binance news report also highlights the difference between formal MiCA licensing authority and the broader policy influence exercised by major European institutions. For Binance, Greece was supposed to be its single-day regulatory gateway to the EU, but the road was closed before the license was issued.
The Wall Street Journal report remains the most detailed public record of the matter at present. Neither the European Central Bank nor the Greek government issued a formal public response to specific allegations of personal interference.
