BlackRock's IBIT has had net inflows for four consecutive days, absorbing a total of 9,269 BTC, worth approximately US$604 million.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has achieved net inflows for four consecutive trading days, absorbing a total of 9,269 BTC, worth approximately US$604 million at current prices. This trend highlights the fund's growing importance as the main channel for institutional investors to enter the Bitcoin market.

Four consecutive days after weakness in July

Previously, analysts generally believed that the overall capital inflow of Bitcoin ETFs was weak in July, which made the recovery in early August even more eye-catching. The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF recorded a net inflow of $137.6 million on August 6, extending the period of consecutive net inflows to four trading days. Among them, IBIT fund alone attracted US$128.3 million, accounting for the vast majority of the industry's net inflows.

According to daily fund data from Farside Investors, since August 3, cumulative net inflows of Bitcoin ETFs have reached US$763.6 million: net inflows on August 3 were US$170.1 million, and US$211.5 million on August 4, and US$244.4 million on August 5.

IBIT consolidates institutional investor dominance

Since its launch, the fund has continued to account for 70% to 80% of daily inflows into the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market. Analysts have described the Bitcoin ETF market as a "winner-takes-all" landscape, with BlackRock and Fidelity leading inflows and smaller issuers playing only a supporting role at best.

Absorbing more than 9000 BTC pieces in four days represents considerable demand compared to the existing spot liquidity. ETF fund flows are one of the clearest real-time indicators of institutional sentiment towards cryptocurrencies, as such funds buy and sell actual bitcoins based on investor needs. Continued net inflows will tighten available supply, while large net outflows could put selling pressure on the spot market.

This latest round of accumulation further consolidates IBIT's position as the default channel for traditional capital to enter the Bitcoin ecosystem. Each new wave of inflows is reinforcing a structural shift: from retail investors driven speculation to regulated, institutional-level holding of Bitcoin.
