Experts say: If you hold this amount of XRP, you will become a millionaire in 20 years

Cryptocurrency commentator's opinion: With 10,000 XRPs, you are expected to become a millionaire within 20 years.

Recently, a post posted by cryptocurrency commentator Nate (@natebridges51) on social platform X has been widely circulated in the XRP community. He proposed a simple calculation: If the XRP price reaches $100, then a person holding 10,000 XRPs will become a millionaire.

Nate wrote: "If you think this is possible over the next 20 years, accumulating 10,000 XRPs will be the wisest decision you will ever make, right?"

The community response was enthusiastic and divided.

Nate's questions quickly attracted a lot of attention and attracted dozens of replies. These responses ranged from enthusiastic approval to outright skepticism, showing very different attitudes.

Some respondents questioned the 20-year time frame, insisting that XRP will reach this goal much faster, expected to take only three to five years. Another user set the timeline to 2032, which also significantly reduced the expected cycle. Nate agrees and believes that reaching high goals before 2032 is a very good result.

However, some commentators pointed out that the post may be intended to gain interactive traffic and accused Nate of pretending to support XRP while spreading doubts. Others question the real value of $1 million in 20 years, pointing out that inflation could significantly erode its purchasing power.

In addition, some interviewees raised a practical concern: it is difficult for most retail investors to hold on to it for 20 years, and many people cannot even hold on to it for a month. Others pointed out that XRP has existed for many years since its birth in 2012, and if the waiting time is as long as 35 years, it will pose a challenge to its credibility as an investment target.

Despite the mixed and diverse market sentiment, the milestone of "XRP reaching $100" has sparked serious discussions among analyst groups and the retail community.

Logical support for long-term holding of XRP

Several cryptocurrency analysts and commentators have consistently advised XRP holders to resist short-term selling impulses. Edward Farina of Alpha Lions Academy cited multiple reasons for long-term holding, including the final resolution of the SEC and Ripple lawsuit, growing institutional interest, and Ripple's expansion in stablecoin infrastructure such as RLUSD. He also pointed out that factors such as corporate partners that are about to land and prices that have not yet been fully discovered are reasons for patience.

Commentator John Squire also believes that selling before regulatory clarity is truly in place means leaving too early. The SEC case was closed in 2025, and many believe it removes the biggest obstacle to institutional capital entering the XRP market.

Outlook on the US$100 target

The figure of "$100" appears repeatedly in relevant XRP comments. Some analysts have linked it directly to BlackRock's potential spot XRP ETF application, arguing that such an event would trigger an immediate surge in prices. However, since BlackRock did not formally submit an application at the time, this statement is still speculative.

Although time forecasts vary, many analysts and experts are still confident that XRP will reach the US$100 target.
