XRP CSD BR将XRP Ledger集成至巴西证券基础设施

XRP Ledger作为基础
Initially, XRP Ledger will serve as an additional audit and recording layer for CSD BR custody fund units. Over time, the project aims to expand its scope, potentially allowing blockchain to be more widely used in Brazil's vast fixed-income market.
Judges explained that CSD BR chose XRP Ledger because its design focus is on financial applications and is compatible with regulated infrastructure. Unlike other potential networks, XRPL will become the only blockchain platform in the project rather than part of a multi-chain experiment.
"CSD BR chose XRPL because it was specifically designed for financial use cases and could be integrated with existing regulated infrastructure out of the box." Judges pointed out.
Judges emphasized that XRPL is currently the only blockchain in the stack, highlighting the network's central position in the initiative.
Beyond the proof-of-concept phase
Unlike many blockchain projects that are limited to proof-of-concept pilots, this initiative aims to directly support national financial infrastructure from its inception. Silvio Pegado, Ripple's general manager for Latin America, described the shift from a pilot phase to a full deployment as a major achievement in the distributed ledger space. He emphasized the importance of integrating blockchain technology into the daily operations of regulated capital markets.
This collaboration could set a precedent for how blockchain platforms like XRPL can be adopted in regulated environments and could herald wider adoption in other financial sectors.
Future developments will determine how much Brazil's fixed income and other securities markets adopt blockchain infrastructure after their initial deployment using XRP Ledger.
