BTC Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong: Bitcoin is expected to reach US$300,000 to US$400,000 in 2030
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes that if cryptocurrencies continue to follow the market cycle of the past few years, Bitcoin (BTC) is expected to reach US$300,000 to US$400,000 by 2030. Armstrong made the comments in an interview with The "Wolf of All Streets" channel on Sunday, during which he discussed Bitcoin's historical market cycle, recent downturns and the broader expansion of the cryptocurrency industry.
"I hope that by 2030, we can see Bitcoin prices reaching $300,000 to $400,000," Armstrong told host Scott Melker.
It's worth noting that Coinbase's CEO made this prediction based in part on Bitcoin's four-year market cycle. He pointed out that historically Bitcoin has usually experienced significant increases around halving events, which halved the amount of new BTC entering circulation, often followed by a significant correction. "We have just recently experienced one such cycle, and although no one knows exactly where the future is going, if it follows a similar pattern in the past, hopefully we have seen the bottom of this cycle, with Bitcoin around $60,000." He added.
Last week, Armstrong expressed similar views. He told Bloomberg that after about a year of decline in cryptocurrencies, he believed Bitcoin's latest downward cycle had hit bottom.

不过，对于Armstrong而言，比特币只是更大规模加密扩张的一部分。他指出，稳定币、永续合约、代币化股票以及与人工智能相关的金融应用等领域，无论比特币短期价格如何波动，都可能持续发展。“无论比特币价格如何变化，稳定币、永续合约、预测市场和代理型金融（Agentic Finance）都在稳步增长，”Armstrong表示。
