XRP Cryptocurrency market analyst Austin Hilton: XRP is expected to see significant price growth
Cryptocurrency market analyst Austin Hilton said that as market attention shifts within the digital asset space, XRP may see significant price growth. Hilton reviewed the previous price trend of XRP and pointed out that after a long period of consolidation, there are often sharp increases.
Quantitative tokens and Zcash show sector-driven surge trend
Hilton cited recent activity by Quant and Zcash to highlight how these assets can react violently to news from specific sectors. He pointed out that Quant remained stable in the $50 to $60 price range before soaring rapidly after major announcements related to the tokenization of real-world assets.
Similarly, Hilton observed that Zcash also achieved strong gains when sector interest increased. He believes that these patterns show that major developments can quickly attract investors to specific areas of the cryptocurrency market, leading to sudden increases in the prices of certain coins. According to Hilton, if developments in the fintech or services sector attract investors 'attention, a similar scenario could play out for XRP.

He mentioned Evernorth as another example of the relevance of the XRP plate. Evernorth is positioning itself as an XRP treasury company and preparing to list on the Nasdaq. Hilton ranks XRP alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum as one of the top three cryptocurrencies, while listing Solana as another asset worthy of attention, but with a different focus. He emphasized that the momentum of focusing on sectors can bring additional demand for XRP that goes beyond individual asset-related news.
Historical price movements shape prospects
Looking back at XRP's historical prices, Hilton cited periods of 50% to 70% asset gains in the past few days. He cited as an example the surge in 2023, when regulatory developments involving the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple pushed XRP up by about 200% in a week, demonstrating how news catalysts can quickly affect market sentiment.
In the six to eight days surrounding the SEC legal event, XRP recorded a nearly 200% price increase, demonstrating the asset's sensitivity to major news events. Hilton suggested that as the overall cryptocurrency market enters a new bull market, a similar trend could occur in XRP even without a specific catalyst directly targeting the asset.
Institutional Capital and Volatility Shift
Hilton also discussed the increasing participation of institutional investors in the cryptocurrency space. He believes that over time, greater institutional involvement may reduce the volatility currently seen in digital asset transactions.
Although he hopes that cryptocurrencies will gradually replace traditional stocks as institutional participation increases, Hilton believes this transition will still take years. Previously, he believed that XRP's connection with the continued development of fintech made it a strong candidate for potential large price fluctuations in the future. Hilton maintains that XRP's exposure to financial services, combined with lessons learned from other recent cryptocurrencies 'sharp rallies, promises a strong rally if market interest shifts accordingly.
