BingX首席战略官Kevin Lee表示，与许多加密原生交易者相比，富有的“老钱”（Old Money）投资者在比特币（BTC）投资上采取了更为长期的视角。
在与Cointelegraph多媒体主管Ciaran Lyons在Token2049峰会进行的炉边对话中，Lee透露他经常接触寻求另类投资的“老钱”客户。他指出：“他们的‘钻石手’（坚定持有者）比我们要坚固得多。”
Lee补充道，随着比特币规模的不断扩大，富裕投资者越来越将其视为分散投资组合的一种方式，而非期待其在两周内实现“十倍增长”。他将富裕投资者描述为加密货币资本中一个尚未被充分开发的来源，认为这种买入并持有的策略可以使比特币成为更多投资者的资产配置工具。然而，家族办公室的数据表明，更广泛的采用仍然有限。

一些高净值投资者越来越多地将长期增值和资产多元化作为持有加密货币的理由。Lee指出，比特币的成长使其作为投资组合分散工具的可行性增强，并举例说明，有投资者将5%的资金配置于黄金，另外5%配置于比特币，而不是追求快速回报。
The latest data shows that wealthy investors who already hold cryptocurrencies have a longer-term view of the asset class. A CoinShares survey released on Monday showed that a survey of 2,230 investors with at least $500,000 in investable assets found that "long-term appreciation" and "diversification" are the main reasons for investing in cryptocurrencies, while short-term speculation ranks at the bottom. Among digital asset investors surveyed, 80% hold Bitcoin.
Despite this, cryptocurrencies are far from becoming standard among wealthy households. A report released by JPMorgan Chase in February this year was based on a survey of 333 single-family offices from 30 countries and found that 89% of respondents had no exposure to cryptocurrencies, and their average allocation of cryptocurrencies and digital assets was only 0.4%. Only 17% of respondents identified cryptocurrencies and digital assets as key investment themes.
