BTC Blockchain.com 向美国 CFTC 申请预测市场及加密衍生品许可
据报道，Blockchain.com 已正式向美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）提交申请，旨在获得开展预测市场产品及加密衍生品业务的批准。据 CNBC 周五报道，该交易所已向 CFTC 提交了两种牌照申请，分别为事件合约和面向美国零售及机构投资者的加密衍生品业务。若获批，其作为指定合约市场（DCM）和期货佣金商（FCM）的资质，将分别允许 Blockchain.com 运营事件合约期货交易所及衍生品合约经纪业务。
此前，Blockchain.com 于今年七月宣布计划与 Polymarket 合作，在其应用程序中整合预测市场功能。然而，若此次 CFTC 牌照申请获得批准，该交易所将能够推出自有平台，直接提供事件合约服务。
目前，关于 Kalshi 和 Polymarket 等预测市场平台的监管与执法问题正在美国法院接受检验。许多州级监管机构因指控这些公司涉嫌违反体育和选举博彩相关法律而提起诉讼。上个月，新泽西州官员向美国最高法院提交了请愿书，要求介入其与 Kalshi 的案件，此举有望解决联邦监管机构与州级监管机构之间的管辖权争议。
此外，据悉 Blockchain.com 还在考虑进行首次公开募股（IPO），估值高达 60 亿美元，预计募资 5 亿美元。
CFTC Chairman promotes crypto regulation, citing FTX crash
This week, CFTC Chairman Michael Selig defended regulators 'efforts to advance cryptocurrency regulation through "rule-making" rather than congressional legislation, citing the collapse of the FTX exchange as a basis. The company filed for bankruptcy in November 2022, causing multiple executives, including former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, to face criminal charges.
Selig said in an interview with Fox Business on Wednesday that the proposed rules would affect companies registered as licensed crypto companies, noting that it would "bring security to the crypto spot market," while citing the FTX crash. On Friday, he posted that the agency's rules would prevent "theft of customer funds as occurred in the FTX incident."
Selig is still the only member and chairman of the CFTC. As of Friday, the White House had not announced nominees to fill the four vacant seats in the agency. Selig has repeatedly said he plans to implement President Donald Trump's crypto agenda and claims the agency has exclusive jurisdiction over the forecasting market.
