Spot Bitcoin ETF ushered in strong capital inflows on September 3
On Thursday (September 3), US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded significant net capital inflows. Market data showed that the net inflow on the day was approximately US$730.8 million, and some market institutions estimated that the total inflow was close to US$740 million. This figure set a record for the highest single-day net flow of a spot Bitcoin ETF in the past nine months.
data shows that approximately 9,450 bitcoins flowed into relevant ETF products in just one day. This brought the total cumulative net inflow of spot Bitcoin ETFs to US$55.9 billion, and the cumulative Bitcoin positions held were approximately 699,000. As of the statistical time point, the total net asset value (NAV) of the spot Bitcoin ETF was US$99.61 billion, and the trading volume that day was as high as US$5.69 billion.
Judging from the performance of specific funds, some products attracted a large number of purchases, with a single-day Bitcoin purchase amount reaching approximately US$631 million. Although there was a small outflow from individual funds, the overall pattern still showed a significant positive trend, indicating that institutional investors 'demand for Bitcoin is accelerating again.
