XRP XRP may approach two key technical levels, determining whether it can hit US$2 strongly.
XRP may be approaching two important technical thresholds, which may determine whether the cryptocurrency can launch a stronger offensive and move towards the US$2 target. Cryptocurrency enthusiast "XRP Update" cited Bird_XRPL analysis, pointing out that $1.42 and $1.56 are two resistance levels that XRP must overcome before it can rise further.
In a recent tweet,"XRP Update" described the market pattern as requiring "two breakthroughs," first at $1.42 and then at $1.56. According to the post, the key is not only to break through above these two levels, but also to transform them into support levels.
"Convert these two resistance levels into support and the move towards $2 could accelerate very quickly," said XRP Update.
Therefore, the focus of the analysis is on the performance of XRP after each breakthrough. If prices fail to stand firm after breaking through resistance, it may cause cryptocurrencies to continue to trade within existing ranges; if sustained support can be formed above these levels, it will strengthen the bullish pattern described in the post.
Bird expects XRP to rise
Bird_XRPL quoted in the "XRP Update" provides more background information in the original analytical commentary. When ChartNerd asked what would happen if resistance continued as resistance, Bird admitted that XRP could consolidate further before attempting to move up again. Bird said the XRP could "rebound and oscillate for a while" here, forming a wedge shape, or remaining in the current channel.
However, Bird remains bullish. The analyst pointed out that there is a lot of liquidity above Bitcoin and Ethereum, and noted that these two cryptocurrencies have achieved breakthroughs. Based on the broader market environment, Bird said he was "100% confident" that "XRP will soon follow suit."
Bird also pointed out that the wall of selling orders around resistance is the immediate obstacle currently facing. According to the analyst, XRP first needs to break through these sell orders wall, although Bird believes these sell orders will be absorbed due to broader macro conditions.
A $1.45 breakthrough may strengthen the bullish pattern
Other comments under Bird's analysis also focused on similar price levels. Sarah_615h noted that XRP has fallen back to $1.36 and said a breakthrough of $1.45 could push prices above $1.80.
Ripple King also identified the US$1.42 -1.43 region as the first important barrier, followed by the US$1.55 -1.60 region. The commentator said that if these areas could be cleared by volume,$2.00 would become a more substantial price target.
For the "XRP Update", the near-term roadmap is still concentrated at $1.42 and $1.56. The analysis does not imply that XRP has confirmed any breakthroughs, but points to two resistance levels that bulls need to overcome and consolidate if they want to push the market towards US$2.
As XRP trades near these technical areas, turning resistance into support could become a key test for the bullish scenario outlined in Bird_XRPL and the "XRP Update".
