Review of the cryptocurrency market on September 14: Filecoin led the gains and PONS fell sharply

On September 14, 2026, the cryptocurrency market as a whole fell. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) both fell, while among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, Filecoin (FIL) performed the strongest, recording the largest gain. At the same time, PONS suffered the most drastic sell-off, falling more than 12%.

Price dynamics of major currencies

According to CoinMarketCap data, as of 10:00 am on September 14, Korean time, Bitcoin fell 0.63% from the previous trading day to US$76,746.22; Ethereum fell 1.63% to US$2,483.25. XRP trading prices also fell, with Solana (SOL) down about 2%, falling back to near the $100 mark.

In terms of other mainstream currencies, Tron (TRX) is quoted at US$0.3386, Dogecoin (DOGE) is quoted at US$0.08442, and Avalanche (AVAX) is about US$7.31. In addition, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) is trading at $0.05657 and Worldcoin (WLD) is trading at approximately $0.38.

Altcoin market performance

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, Filecoin (FIL) posted its largest gain in 24 hours, soaring 21.73%. In contrast, PONS fell the most, reaching 12.03%.

In other altcoin areas, QUAI and Aleo (ALEO) also showed a downward trend. Quai Network (QUAI) fell 6.53% from the previous session to US$0.00912;ALEO fell 1.10% in 24 hours to US$0.01691.

New Online Currency

CoinMarketCap has listed two new cryptocurrencies in the past 24 hours: Artificial Cat (AC) and ZZZ (ZZZ).
