Kiyosaki compared this situation to the Great Depression. He pointed out that the Great Depression lasted for 25 years from 1929 to 1954. During this period, prepared families like the Kennedys used the period to grow their wealth, while others suffered.
Asset classes that Kiyosaki admires
Kiyosaki has long urged followers to get rid of cash and paper assets. His current strategy remains consistent: running a personal business, investing in income-producing real estate, oil-producing wells, and hard currency assets such as gold, silver and Bitcoin.
He expects central banks to respond by more "printing money," which in his view makes holding cash a loss strategy. This is also consistent with his recent views on quantitative easing (QE). Last month, Kiyosaki warned that a new round of quantitative easing would reignite inflation, weaken the purchasing power of the dollar and make savers the "biggest losers."
He used the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) as a key signal: When the index falls, fewer goods and services can be purchased for each dollar of savings.
Four major assets, a core logic
Kiyosaki's core argument is simple: own assets that appreciate when the dollar falls. He listed gold, silver, bitcoin and select real estate as rational hedging tools against a monetary system that punishes passive savers.
He previously wrote: "Facts have shown that educated investors become rich by investing in appreciating assets (such as gold, silver, bitcoin and some real estate), while people with little financial knowledge invest in fake assets and become poor."
Even though Bitcoin is trading well below historical highs, he still sees it as a structural hedge rather than a short-term transaction.
However, his sharpest view is education. "Your biggest expense is not the time and money spent on financial education-because it's a worthwhile investment."
For Kiyosaki, the crash was not just a warning, but an opportunity for those willing to learn and take action.
