Sei Network announced a partnership with Dinari to bring more than 700 tokenized U.S. stocks to its blockchain.
Sei Network recently announced a partnership with Dinari Global to increase the number of tokenized U.S. stocks supported on its blockchain to more than 700, covering all components of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index. The partnership marks the further integration of Dinari's dShares products into Sei's expanding ecosystem, providing eligible U.S. investors with another on-chain access to public market equity.
Compliance structure: Designed specifically for U.S. investors
dShares is a tokenized expression of traditional equity, fully supported by underlying securities on a 1:1 ratio. Relevant stocks and exchange-traded fund (ETF) shares are held in custody by a registered U.S. broker-dealer. Once integrated online, assets will be provided through supported self-managed wallets and can be traded using USDC.
Dinari is a US-based tokenized U.S. stock issuer. The company is both a transfer agent registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a member broker-dealer of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). This regulatory combination allows it to legally sell tokenized shares to U.S. individuals, which is a core advantage that distinguishes Dinari from most other offshore tokenized stock issuers, who are often unable to sell such products directly to U.S. users.
This integration is not to launch a new S & P 500 tokenized product, but to expand the distribution of Dinari's existing dShares products. Previously, Dinari has provided full index coverage through its platform as part of a broader tokenized equity offers.
Preserving traditional shareholder interests
dShares is structured to preserve the rights and protections associated with traditional stock ownership, including best executed quotes (NBBO), voting rights, dividend distributions, corporate actions, and ownership of underlying securities.
Currently, eligible U.S. investors can obtain dShares through the Dinari Trading App and initial launch partners such as Monaco and Eldora. Dinari currently supports Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base and Ethereum mainnets, and is expected to add support for Sei and Solana soon.
Continued expansion of the Sei ecosystem
With the advancement of Mastercard and Dinari related developments, Sei is accelerating its pace towards institutional-level blockchain adoption and tokenized stocks. Recently, Sei Networks 'decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction volume surged by 316% in a single day, demonstrating the growing vitality of the ecosystem.
