XRP investor Zah Humphries: In-depth analysis of price movements in the current correction
XRP investor Zach Humphries is reviewing the extent to which XRP may fall during the current correction and points out that a $1 price level is not impossible if selling pressure intensifies. In a video released on the X platform, he responded to market concerns about the price trend of the cryptocurrency and clearly pointed out that $1.27 is the key support level that XRP must hold to maintain the current weekly structure.
The macro environment and Bitcoin's dominant role
Humphreys linked the recent weakness in the crypto market to the broader market environment, pointing out that stocks have also fallen. He emphasized that Bitcoin plays an important role in determining crypto market conditions, while macroeconomic factors can affect the performance of Bitcoin and other risky assets.
Although he discussed concerns surrounding Treasury yields and the overall market environment in October, Humphreys said he did not believe the current yield situation constituted a major concern for his long-term investment strategy. He also mentioned that a strong dollar could have an impact on risky assets. In addition, Humphreys cited leverage ratios and recent outflows of ETF funds as factors worthy of close monitoring. According to his observation, the crypto market has experienced excessive leverage, and the outflow of ETF funds has lasted for several days. He believes that these developments provide valuable information for understanding current market conditions.
$1.27 becomes critical watershed
Humphries then turned to the weekly chart of XRP and determined that $1.27 was the most critical to the current structure of the cryptocurrency. He said that as long as XRP remains above $1.27, its recovery structure at the weekly level will remain intact. At the time of his analysis, XRP had dropped to around $1.32, and then rebounded. Humphreys pointed out that as long as weekly closing prices continue to exceed $1.27, the current structure can be maintained.
He also mentioned the $0.98 to $1 range hit in August as an important early low. XRP rebounded strongly after hitting that range and then moved towards $1.70.
Maintain bullish expectations
Humphreys said the current chart pattern presents a head-and-shoulder pattern, including the left shoulder, head and the emerging right shoulder. As long as XRP holds on to $1.27, he considers this pattern bullish. According to his analysis, if prices continue to fall below that level, it will undermine the structure established since the August low. However, as long as XRP remains above $1.27, Humphries said he will not be worried by short-term price fluctuations.
He concluded that from a long-term perspective, the current decline is just short-term market noise, and $1.27 remains a key threshold for judging whether XRP can maintain its bullish weekly structure.
