XRP 
RLUSD AI agents pay faster on XRP ledger than expected
J. Ayo Akinyele, head of RippleX engineering, confirmed on social media platform X that the XRP ledger (XRPL) has currently processed more than 13 million agent transactions, covering 166 merchants that support the x402 protocol. Today, agent payments account for approximately 25% of all activity on the ledger.
Akinyele predicted earlier this year that XRPL would quickly break the 10 million agent transaction mark. This prediction has become a reality, and network construction continues to accelerate. His latest assessment believes: "100 million transactions may come earlier than we expected."
Transactions that do not require manual approval
Currently, AI agents can pay for API calls, computing resources and data independently, without the need for humans to approve every transaction. The infrastructure supporting such activities must be fast, predictable results and stable costs.
XRPL perfectly meets these three requirements: the transaction confirmation time only takes 3 to 5 seconds; the fee is fixed in advance, and there is no uncertainty in Gas bidding or fee estimation; due to the support of the ledger design itself, the agent can operate efficiently within a defined budget range.

x402 集成开辟新的收入来源
XRPL 对 x402 支付协议的支持，使得智能体能够在第一天就使用 XRP 或 RLUSD 为 API 调用和 AI 模型推理付费。随着 166 家活跃 x402 商户的加入，支持智能体支付的商业基础设施已经上线并持续增长。
RLUSD 是 Ripple 发行的、原生于 XRPL 的美元稳定币，为需要价格确定性的工作流提供了稳定的计价单位。发票结算、工资发放以及智能体间的商业活动，均运行在与 XRP 相同的交易基础架构之上。此外，用户还可以通过 XRPL 内置的去中心化交易所（DEX）将 RLUSD 兑换为其他资产，无需依赖外部桥接。

Every agent transaction generates network activity. As the size of transactions expands, the demand for XRP as a settlement asset also increases. Since 2012, the ledger has been running continuously without a transaction rollback, which provides a reliable basis for institutions to deploy agents with real capital.
Akinyele said: "Now is the best time to build." The merchant network has been officially launched, and transaction volume is growing. Early developers will gain access to the network of agents that are already expanding in service consumption.
