This year, on Halloween, the crypto trading community experienced a unique celebration—gTrade officially launched a Halloween trading competition on the Arbitrum chain. The total prize money is up to $400,000. Whether you’re a seasoned trader or a beginner, this is a exciting and profitable opportunity. You can not only experience the thrill of high-frequency trading on the chain but also earn real money through strategic trading and effective operations. What’s more, this competition draws attention to the vitality of the Arbitrum ecosystem and the innovation in DeFi trading, making it one of the most lively crypto events during the holiday season.

Singapore, October 17, 2025. Chainwire

Gains Network’s decentralized perpetual trading platform, gTrade, announced today the launch of the “Trick or Trade” Halloween trading competition. The competition will take place from October 22nd to November 19th. This event will only be held on the Arbitrum network, highlighting gTrade’s commitment to enhancing activities and liquidity in its most active deployment area.

Although gTrade operates across multiple blockchains, the “Trick or Trade” competition will only be held on Arbitrum, which reflects the platform’s strong liquidity pool and its significant share in historical trading volume. This competition also reinforces gTrade’s long-term development plan: to integrate liquidity around its Arbitrum deployment while providing traders with multi-chain access capabilities.

Following the receipt of 4.5 million ARB through the STIP incentive program, and an additional 2.25 million ARB in 2024 through STIP.B, gTrade will use its own funds to support this competition worth 400,000 USDT. Both competitions will take place exclusively on Arbitrum, and all transactions will be settled using USDC as collateral.

The “No Sugar No Drinks” competition includes two parallel categories:

In the profit-and-loss competition, there is a prize pool of 200,000 USDT for the top 100 traders based on their realized or cleared profits and losses. All positions must be opened and closed using USDC as collateral on Arbitrum.

The bulk competition also offers a prize pool of 200,000 USDT.

Top traders will be rewarded with time-weighted multipliers based on their cumulative trading volume on Arbitrum, with these multipliers being more favorable for long-term positions.

Nathan, the project manager of Gains Network, said, “We organized this competition to celebrate our Arbitrum traders and to further strengthen our most liquid network. By focusing on Arbitrum, we are creating a more efficient environment for traders and giving back to the community that supports us in our development.”

This competition marks another milestone in gTrade’s broader vision: to simplify liquidity and provide consistent cross-chain access for traders around the world.
