Shifts in key percentile requirements
The entry point decline pattern for other milestone centiles is consistent. Currently, joining the top 2% requires 21,500 XRPs, or approximately US$33,110. Investors need to hold at least 10,010 XRPs (worth US$15,415) to be included in the top 4%. At this level, 327,970 accounts currently qualify, reflecting the expansion of network coverage.
Those wishing to join the top 10% holders need 2,091 XRPs, which represents an investment of US$3,221 at current valuations.
Concentration at the elite level and at the top
The threshold for higher centiles has increased sharply. The criterion for entering the top 0.5% is 79,752 XRPs worth approximately US$122,819 and distributed among 40,997 addresses. For the top 0.2%, the requirement jumped to 156,490 XRPs, with an open value of US$241,115. The top 0.1% required 275,019 XRPs, equivalent to US$423,529, and only 8,200 addresses met this criterion.
