Quantus has become a development partner of Strongpoint in support of Quantus Network
, a project designed to help shape institutional key management, governance and transaction workflows to meet the challenges of the post-quantum blockchain era.
As blockchain networks begin to adopt post-quantum cryptography, it is unlikely that the industry will unify on a single signature scheme, migration path or timetable. For financial institutions, this poses increasingly serious infrastructure challenges: maintaining consistent security standards, governance structures, and operational controls while supporting different encryption standards across multiple networks.
Solving the Challenge with Cryptographically Agile Architecture
Strongpoint aims to solve this challenge with a "crypto-agile" architecture. This architecture separates the institutional control layer from the cryptographic technology used by the underlying network. Authentication, policies, approval, key management, and auditing all operate through a common control layer, while the encryption algorithms and network-specific requirements underneath it can be independently changed.
This planned integration extends the architecture to Quantus. Quantus provides post-quantum security at the protocol level, while Strongpoint will enable organizations to protect Quantus keys and approve transactions through hardware, policies, approval processes and audit controls.
Alex Pruden, co-founder and CEO of Project Eleven, said: "Quantus has taken a forward-looking approach to building post-quantum security directly into its architecture. As more networks adopt new encryption standards, organizations need infrastructure that can support these changes without having to pay the price of rebuilding security and operational workflows every time. Strongpoint is designed to provide this consistency."
Deepen cooperation and reduce operational frictions
As an integrated development partner, Quantus will work with Project Eleven to help shape Strongpoint's support for the network and the needs of the organizations operating on it. The two companies are expected to collaborate on technology integration, key management workflows, transaction support, and other infrastructure needed to bring Quantus into institutional custody environments.
Christopher Smith, co-founder and CEO of Quantus, said: "Quantus is designed around the security needs of a post-quantum world. For organizations, adopting new cryptography does not mean that they must replace the security, governance and operations systems they already rely on. The partnership with Project Eleven will make it easier to support Quantus in existing key management and transaction approval workflows, helping to reduce possible operational friction when adopting new encryption standards."
Once support features are online, organizations will be able to manage Quantus with other digital assets, while maintaining a consistent approach to key security, transaction governance, and operational control.
The collaboration is part of Project Eleven's broader work with blockchain networks and institutions ahead of the official launch of Strongpoint. Quantus support targets are set for the first quarter of 2027, and final usability details will be announced before release.
About Project Eleven
Project Eleven builds resilient infrastructure and tools for the post-quantum era. The company develops scalable solutions to enhance security in the rapidly evolving quantum threat landscape. With deep expertise in cryptography, blockchain and financial systems, Project Eleven combines advanced post-quantum research with real-world implementation to prepare the digital asset ecosystem for the future.
About Quantus
Quantus is a quantum-secure cryptocurrency. It is a post-quantum security Layer 1 Proof-of-Work blockchain with a supply cap of 21 million pieces and has privacy protection by default. Quantus uses ML-DSA for key generation and transaction signing, and uses zero-knowledge proof for scalability and privacy protection.
Quantus also built migration.fail, a platform that publicly tracks the extent to which the cryptocurrency industry remains vulnerable to quantum computing attacks.
