WLD price rebound: A shock analysis supported by both technical and fundamental aspects

Worldcoin (WLD) traded at US$0.5469 on Saturday, October 10, up 7.83% during the day. Buyers provided strong support around $0.50 on the lower edge of the rising channel, pushing prices back and directly hitting the 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level of $0.5593. The intraday high reached US$0.5761. After briefly breaking through the resistance, sellers stepped in to push the price back below the resistance.

The rebound occurred three days after the launch of the token in Swiss Borg, and the daily unlock volume dropped by 43% compared with the first half of the year, providing a favorable background for the market. Despite the strong short-term trend, WLD still fell 7.25% this week.

Double overlapping support prevented this week's correction

The rally began at the lower edge of the rising channel that has guided price movements since the mid-September low (about $0.36). The boundary is currently near $0.50, almost coinciding with the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level ($0.5088), which marks a drop from a June high of $0.7229 to halfway to an August low of $0.2947. When the trend line and retracement level meet in the same price range, traders following these two technical analyses will concentrate their orders in this narrow range, causing selling pressure to dry up.

If the daily line closes below US$0.50, it will disrupt the channel pattern and expose a cluster of US$0.458 to US$0.461, which is about 16% lower than the current price. Below this region, the next support is the 200-day EMA of $0.4359 and the 0.236 retracement of $0.3957. A break below these two averages would also erase the cross signals that turned the trend background positive a week ago.

Switzerland Borg launches WLD in the middle of the pullback

The news flow over the past three weeks explains why buyers are willing to enter at $0.50. Borg of Switzerland announced the launch of WLD on October 7, allowing users to "exchange WLD from 12 fiat currencies or more than 400 assets with one click." The company serves European customers through BlockNodes SAS, a French entity authorized under the EU MiCA cryptographic service provider licensing regime.

Although WLD fell for two more trading days after the announcement, indicating that the launch itself did not trigger an immediate rebound, it expanded market access. In addition, the authorization content does not involve relevant regulations on World ID iris scanning equipment.

The channel provides a narrow resolution range for the WLD. A daily close above $0.5593 will turn the 0.618 level into support and use $0.6313 as the next ceiling, an increase of about 15%. A close below $0.50 would end the series of higher lows that began in mid-September. Prior to this, the divergence in the RSI reminds investors to pay close attention to volume expansion when any secondary impact on resistance levels.

On the supply side, according to current plans, the daily issuance volume remains at 2.9 million WLD, and over-the-counter tokens are expected to be lifted around September 2027. Through Borg, Switzerland, European demand now has a regulated entry point, although biometric data rules remain an issue that World ID needs to address alone in the region.

World launched World Money on September 17, supporting stablecoin balances in eight currencies and a Morpho-driven revenue plan including WLD. Two weeks later, peaq added World ID to its connected machine operating system. In a July update, the company said it was entering a phase centered on practicality after issuing more than 900 million WLD grants and referral rewards to approximately 16 million verified recipients. These are data reported by the company and have not been independently audited, and neither product requires users to purchase tokens.
