比特小鹿（Bitdeer）已在美国内华达州斯帕克斯市启动一座先进电子制造工厂的建设，总投资额达3600万美元。该工厂标志着比特小鹿在美国的首个生产与组装设施。这座占地18.7万平方米的巨型工厂预计于2026年底完工，届时每月可生产多达1万台SEALMINER设备。
新工厂助力产能提升
以加密货币挖矿和数据中心运营闻名的比特小鹿，将内华达工厂视为其在美国扩张的关键转折点。该工厂预计将雇佣约70名工程师、技术专家及支持人员。通过本地化投资，比特小鹿计划将制造环节更贴近美国客户，同时增强供应链的韧性。
比特小鹿工业（Bitdeer Industrial）董事会主席保罗·汉森强调，斯帕克斯工厂将有助于提升供应链可靠性，并将生产大幅拉近与美国客户的距离。比特小鹿工业首席执行官凯瑟琳·郭则表示，内华达州的劳动力素质、物流基础设施及商业环境是选址的关键因素。新工厂是比特小鹿更广泛的美国扩张战略的基石，将与现有数据中心及位于加利福尼亚州圣何塞的创新中心形成互补。
低哈希价格给矿工带来新挑战
The timing of this investment is worthy of attention because the hash price, an industry revenue indicator in Bitcoin mining, has hovered near historical lows. Spot hash prices stagnated at about $29.81, according to the Hashrate Index data, while Luxor recorded a recent low of $27.89 on February 24, with a March average of $31.27.
This trend has further intensified after Bitcoin halved in April 2024: block rewards have decreased, the power of the entire network has continued to increase, and transaction fee income remains weak, gradually reducing the profitability of unit computing power. In this environment, companies that operate efficient equipment and enjoy low electricity prices stand out, while the payback cycle of older models is further extended.
Quick terminology analysis: Hash price refers to the daily income expected to be generated by a certain computing power. It is measured in PH/s/day and is a basic indicator to measure mining profitability.
Faced with these pressures, Bitfau is adopting a vertical integration strategy to reduce its reliance on external suppliers. The company has begun using its own SEALMINER equipment in its mining business. Among them, the SEALMINER A4 series entered mass production in April, with an energy efficiency ratio of 9.45 joules per terahertz.
Strong operating growth momentum
Bit Deer\'s May results showed clear signs of growth. The company dug up 921 bitcoins last month, a strong 370% increase from the same period last year. Its self-mining computing power has soared annually to 70.2 ehash per second (EH/s).
Bitfau\'s ambitions have surpassed traditional cryptocurrency mining. The company recently announced that its artificial intelligence cloud division achieved recurring annualized revenue of $69 million. At the same time, the company is in high-level negotiations about potential hosting partners for its site in the Tedar region of Norway.
