June\'s payment field dynamics promoted significant expansion of the Solana ecosystem.
A series of payment field news announced in June significantly enhanced Solana\'s position in the digital financial ecosystem. According to relevant data, MasterCard has launched a seamless stablecoin settlement service on the Solana network and incorporated it into its machine core Agent Pay program. These payments infrastructure-level initiatives show that the Solana network is gaining more attention not only in crypto transactions, but also in daily financial application scenarios.
Institutional payment applications continue to heat up
In South Korea, leading payment provider KG Inicis has reached an agreement to explore the implementation of stablecoin payments in its merchant network. The network handles nearly 25 trillion won in transactions every year. MoneyGram has also begun to participate in online verification through pledge SOL, and has expanded payment services to more than 60 million customers around the world. These initiatives highlight the growing interest among major institutions in integrating Solana blockchain for practical payment scenarios.
As MasterCard launches round-the-clock stablecoin settlement on Solana, institutions such as KG Inicis and MoneyGram have also begun to evaluate the network\'s own payment services. Digital bank Toss Bank has begun piloting stablecoin transfers for its 15 million users. The supply of SoFiUSD on Solana increased by $200 million in just five weeks. The launch of new products such as CADC stablecoins backed by the Canadian dollar and Open USD backed by a consortium of major financial institutions has continued to expand the Solana ecosystem.
Solana\'s new subscription and petty spending capabilities mean that regular payments, payroll and billing can now be performed directly on the blockchain, without the need for third-party applications. The platform also highlights solutions such as corporate international banking services, digital prepaid cards, and crypto loan products based on wallet behavior rather than traditional credit scores.
Network data points to rapid growth
Since January 2025, the number of stablecoins on Solana\'s network has surged 154% to US$14.75 billion. Payments jumped 87% from the same period last year. Card-based payment transactions alone totaled $420 million. Solana\'s market share in cryptocurrency payments climbed from 5.43% to 10.1%. Relevant indicator data are as follows: the supply of stablecoins is US$14.75 billion; it has increased by 154% since the beginning of 2025; annual payments have increased by 87%; card payments have reached US$420 million; and market share has increased from 5.43% to 10.1%.
According to data for the first half of 2026, more than half of Solana\'s total stablecoins consists of USDC, which are distributed in 7.54 million wallets. Solana has ranked first among all blockchains in terms of USDC transfer volume for seven consecutive weeks. In this week alone, the network processed 22.7 million transactions, accounting for approximately one-third of all USDC transactions. During the same period, salary payments on Solana reached $1.6 billion, and point-to-point transfers between retail users totaled $803 million.
SOL Key Technical Levels Are Concerned
Analyst Celal Kucuker pointed out that SOL prices continue to show resilience and retain upside potential. He emphasized that the US$77 level is a key support area, which is both the intersection of previous price movements and an important Fibonacci retracement level. Celal Kucuker assessed that if SOL breaks through the monthly downward trend formed in early 2025, the resistance levels of $145 and $188 may play a role. Once SOL remains above the downtrend line, the $145 and $188 levels are likely to become the next resistance point. However, if this support level falls, the current bullish outlook may weaken and the overall upward momentum of the market may be delayed.
