互联网计算机（Internet Computer，简称 ICP）正被日常加密用户、应用构建者以及公共机构广泛使用。普通用户在平台上进行聊天、交易、持有代币以及质押资产；开发者和非技术人员则在此构建应用程序。包括巴基斯坦在内的政府机构也已注册并部署了专属的子网。

什么是互联网计算机？

互联网计算机是由瑞士非营利组织 DFINITY 基金会打造的区块链平台，于 2021 年 5 月正式推出。该平台在“容器”（Canisters）中托管完整的应用程序，这些容器类似于智能合约，既存储代码和数据，又能直接向浏览器提供网页服务。应用程序通过购买“周期”（Cycles）这一计算单位来支付算力费用，而周期的购买需使用 ICP 代币。

普通用户如何使用互联网计算机？

大多数日常活动主要集中在以下三个领域：

聊天与钱包

OpenChat 是一款完全运行在该网络上的即时通讯应用，支持私聊和群聊、文件共享，并内置了比特币（BTC）、以太坊（ETH）和 ICP 的加密货币支付功能。用户使用 Internet Identity 登录，这是一种利用指纹或安全密钥而非传统密码的身份验证方式。

OISYis a browser-based wallet incubated by DFINITY that supports eight networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Internet Computers. It can be used without installing browser extensions or downloading stand-alone applications.

Trading and Memecoins

Odinfun is a Bitcoin Memecoin Launchpad running on an Internet computer. The project was built by the Bioniq team and led by co-founder and CEO Bob Bodily. Odinfun was announced to be launched on January 30, 2025, and will be officially fully released on February 3, 2025. Users only need to connect to their Bitcoin wallet and may not even see the ICP at all. "The use of ICP is completely transparent to end users," said Udi Wertheimer of Odinfun investor Taproot Wizards.

Pledge and Voting

Holders lock ICPs into "Neurons" to participate in the governance of the network's nervous system and earn voting rewards. The Network Neural System (NNS) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that approves network upgrades through token voting. Coin Bureau pointed out in a February 2026 review report that the number of ICPs locked has exceeded 250 million. The current circulation supply is 557.27 million pieces.

WaterNeuron is a liquidity pledge application with a total value of approximately US$8 million. Liquidity pledges allow users to exchange pledged tokens for tradable representative tokens.

How big is the retail user base?

According to DefiLlama's data on October 7, we can get a glimpse of its size:

Number of active addresses: 3,777
DeFi Total locked value (TVL): US$14.99 million
Stabiloin market value: US$4.33 million, of which USDCH accounted for 53.07%

However, from the network-level statistics, the data scale is much larger. Startup Fortune reported that as of October 4, the cumulative transaction volume had reached 305 billion. Since these two indicators measure different dimensions, it is not appropriate to compare directly.

Who builds applications on Internet computers?

Builders fall into two main categories:

Developers use Rust, Motoko, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python to write container code. Sanitation's ranking in July 2026 shows that among AI and big data encryption projects, ICP ranks second in terms of 30-day developer activity, second only to Chainlink. The Motley Fool reported that the number of active developers in February was 187.

Non-technical people can use Caffeine, an AI tool launched by DFINITY that can build applications using natural language prompts. DFINITY said that in its first three months, the tool processed 3.4 million build reminder requests.

Which governments use ICP?

巴基斯坦数字管理局于 2026 年 2 月 10 日与 DFINITY 签署了谅解备忘录，涵盖巴基斯坦子网、国家即时通讯试点项目以及 1,500 个 Caffeine 许可证。此外，拥有 13 个节点提供商的瑞士子网于 2026 年初启动。DFINITY 的 Cloud Engine 产品允许各组织自行设立子网。
