Robinhood Chain transforms liquidity into demand

Robinhood Chain was launched on July 1, quickly absorbing liquidity from the Ethereum main network. Token Terminal data shows that the number of ETH connected to the network increased by 70 times within a week. This move is significant because every transaction on the chain uses ETH as fuel.

The platform is built on Arbitrum Orbit and aims to tokenize stocks, real-world assets and artificial intelligence applications. Robinhood has also opened tokenized stock access to users in more than 120 countries, giving the network a broad retail user base in its first week of launch.

In this latest ETH news cycle, analysts are watching whether this activity can continue. Token Terminal reported daily revenue of approximately US$39,000 and an annualized operating rate of approximately US$14 million. DefiLlama data also shows that TVL is close to 47,000 ETH and is worth more than US$80 million.

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said that most activities on Robinhood Chain are priced in ETH. ETH is both the main trading pair and the asset with the highest trading volume, and also a fuel fee token. It also needs to pay for data storage on the Ethereum main network, which directly connects on-chain activities to the needs of a layer of network.

HashKey researcher Tim Sun said that the launch is a structural positive for ETH. He said wallet growth, bridging assets and transaction needs have all created sustained use scenarios for the asset.

Memin trading volume tests Robinhood Chain\'s RWA vision

Robinhood Chain was originally designed for tokenized finance, but memin trading brought its first major surge in transaction volume. DefiLlama data shows that the daily trading volume of DEX once exceeded US$560 million. This allowed it to briefly surpass Hyperliquid in terms of 24-hour decentralized exchange trading volume.

CASHCAT became the main driver of speculation. The token, linked to Robinhood\'s early mascot, soared more than 1000% in three days. It also drives a large number of transactions on Uniswap, the network\'s main decentralized exchange.

CEO Vlad Tenev also joined the wave, saying that Robinhood Chain is also suitable for memin. He also promoted the broader theme of \"Robinhood Summer\". The company will pay fuel bills for eligible Robinhood Wallet users until September 29.

The latest ETH news focus is now centered between two forces. On the one hand, Robinhood Chain may bring tokenized stocks and real-world assets to a wider global audience. On the other hand, its first-round activity comes from speculative tokens.

The Arbitrum ecosystem has also benefited from this move. Under the Arbitrum expansion plan, 10% of the Robinhood Chain agreement\'s net revenue will flow back into the ecosystem. Of this, 8% is allocated to the Arbitrum DAO vault and 2% is allocated to the Developer Guild.

ARB rose nearly 10% after revenue sharing details attracted attention, and transaction volume more than doubled to more than $104 million. For Ethereum, the bigger test is whether demand for real-world assets can replace early memin traffic.
