The increasing technological structure and the influx of institutional funds push Solana towards $140.
Solana (SOL) has regained the attention of technical analysts and institutional investors after experiencing a strong breakthrough and continued inflow of funds from related investment products. The token's improved price structure has sparked speculation that a new bull market phase may be unfolding.
The technical pattern of bullishness appears
Technical analyst Trader Tardigrade pointed out that a "Bull Flag" pattern is forming on Solana's daily chart. This pattern, seen as a continuation signal, came after SOL decisively broke through from the symmetrical triangle that previously limited its upward trend.
Trader Tardigrade believes that the bullish flag is a precursor to further gains. If a bullish scenario is confirmed, its measurement target is close to $140. This optimistic technical setting comes after SOL recently surged to test $108.43 resistance and then fell back near the key moving average.
TradingView data showed that SOL was trading just above $99.25 and hovering around the 20-day exponential moving average (EMA) of $99.06. Technical indicators show that holding this range will verify the current consolidation stage. Immediate resistance is at the 20th simple moving average (SMA) of $101.97, and a successful breakthrough of this level could pave the way for prices to return to the $108.43 level.
Key support levels include $91.09 for the 50-cycle EMA and $95.50 for the lower limit of Bollinger. Analysts believe the $95.50 level is crucial to maintaining short-term bullish arguments. Losing this support may accelerate downward momentum; while continued defense retains the prospect of a breakthrough.
If buyers regain resistance and the pattern remains solid, the bullish flag will further strengthen the argument that prices hit the $140 target-a level that has now become the focus of traders following Solana's technical charts.
Institutional needs reflected through Bitwise ETF
Institutional appetite also plays an important role in the current narrative. Blockchain intelligence company Arkham reported that Bitwise has increased its Solana holdings by approximately $107 million in the past month, indicating strong buying demand from professional investors.
Bitwise's BSOL ETF recorded inflows of US$107.4 million in the last 20 trading days, with net outflows in only two trading days. This trend suggests that institutions may be taking advantage of the consolidation phase of SOL prices to increase exposure rather than reducing positions amid recent fluctuations.
Continued inflows of ETF funds provide a second source of demand, even if the momentum of the spot market temporarily stops. At the same time, Solana's data showed that the value of tokenized shares issued on its chain reached a new high of $684 million, a 47% increase in just three weeks. The rapid growth of this tokenized asset highlights Solana's growing influence in real-world asset markets.
A solid technical foundation, the entry of institutional capital and the rising volume of tokenized equity trading together provide Solana with multiple potential catalysts, allowing market participants to focus on price movements of $99 and above.
As the technology landscape evolves, defending support near $99 and breaking through resistance above will lay the foundation for further gains.$ The 108 level is a near-term target, and if bullish momentum continues, the $140 mark will remain in focus.
