ARC Arc Main Network is officially launched, Alchemy announces first day of platform support
Arc Main Network is now officially operational, Alchemy announced that it will provide "Day-one" platform support to developers building on the new network. This model of simultaneous launches and infrastructure endorsements eliminates a common point of friction faced by early developers, although the long-term appeal of the network will depend on its adoption in a competitive interlayer environment.
Arc mainnet is online
The release of Arc mainnet marks the network's transition from test-net operations to a real-time production environment. For developers, the shift means real economic activity, smart contracts running in real time, and accountability for network performance that cannot be replicated by test-net conditions.
Anchorage Digital also joined Arc as a first-day partner, marking that the institutional hosting infrastructure has been in place from the beginning. This is an important factor because some development teams consider it when assessing whether the network is ready to shoulder production loads.
Alchemy implements first-day support
Alchemy's first-day platform support announcement means builders can immediately use Alchemy's development kit for Arc without waiting for the post-release integration cycle. This distinction is critical because historically delays in platform support have hindered early adoption of new networks, forcing teams to run their own nodes or rely on less mature infrastructure providers.
