Kalshi's appeal failed, may set up a Supreme Court case

Predicted that Kalshi lost on appeal, the court ruled that Ohio and Tennessee could regulate sports event contracts under their state gambling laws.

The ruling follows a similar finding last month by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which broke an April decision by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to allow the company to do business in New Jersey while its appeal process was ongoing. The April ruling said Kalshi was likely to successfully argue that federal law took precedence over New Jersey regulations, all of which paved the way for potential Supreme Court cases.

Tether says it has only "limited" access to bank-linked U.S. seizure
