Some market observers often question whether Ripple Mobile's large XRP means it has plans to sell huge positions, thereby putting downward pressure on token prices. Especially after escrow was unlocked,$149 million in XRP was transferred between different wallets, which is consistent with the pattern that triggered such scrutinize.
Despite this, analysis of the transfer showed that both the sender and recipient were at addresses controlled by Ripple, indicating that the move was likely an internal operation. No exchange platform received these XRPs, and there was no indication that the transaction directly resulted in a sell order. Records confirm that three authorized persons approved the transfer through a multi-signature mechanism. The entire 100 million XRPs were sent in one operation, and the network fee was only 0.00040 XRP, demonstrating the asset's ability to conduct low-cost transactions.
Such large insider transactions usually represent routine money management rather than market dumping. The fixed timetable for Ripple's trusteeship release is designed to ensure transparency in the circulation of supplies. Under this framework, large capital flows between company wallets are consistent with its past operating habits.
