Zcash NU7 network upgrade has been launched on the public test network

Zcash's NU7 network upgrade has been officially launched on the public test network, shortening the block generation time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds. The upgrade was activated in advance in Block 4,465,026. For users, this change means a significant increase in transaction confirmation speed. Three confirmations that used to normally take about 225 seconds to complete (often regarded as a standard for payment settled) now take only about 75 seconds to complete.
