XRP prices have hardly fluctuated today. Ripple\'s token trading price is about $1.10, almost exactly the same as at the same time yesterday. The market was silent.
This calm is not only reflected in prices, but the data on the chain also shows the same signs.
Sanitation data shows that the XRP ledger has just experienced one of the quietest trading days in recent memory. The network recorded only 25,350 active wallets-the second-lowest day in 2026. The number of new wallets created dropped to 2,130, the lowest point since November 2024.
After a bargain-hunting boom in late June, when new wallet creation soared to 4,941 in a day, traders began to give up. They are waiting for the real catalyst.
Chart Analysis: Activity fell off a cliff
The Sanitation chart accompanying the report clearly tells a story.
Daily active addresses: The orange line in the chart shows that the number of active addresses has steadily declined from a June high of nearly 48,000 to the current 25,350. The notation on the chart marks it as \" Second lowest in 2026 .\" The only day lower than this occurred in the first quarter.
Network growth (new wallets): The purple line shows that new wallet creation has dropped sharply from a peak at the end of June (4,941 new wallets in one day) to just 2,130-a drop of more than 50%. The chart annotation marks it as \" lowest since November 2024 .\"
Price trend: The XRP price line at the top of the chart shows that XRP is trading in a narrow range between $1.05 and $1.15. The token is just under $1.10 and has no momentum to break through in any direction.
The surge at the end of June is in sharp contrast to the current silence. At the end of June, XRP fell to a 19-month low near US$1.01, and new users entered the market to bargain. Now, with prices stabilizing around $1.10, these traders have stopped increasing their holdings. They are waiting for something to happen.
Potential catalysts that may attract XRP users back
Sanitation points out that in addition to price factors, XRP still has multiple potential sparks.
RLUSD growth: Ripple\'s stablecoin continues to expand, with settlement volume on the XRP ledger exceeding US$2.5 billion.
Tokenized asset activity: About US$4 billion in tokenized real-world assets are currently running on XRPL.
Institutional payment use cases: JPMorgan Chase, MasterCard and Ondo completed a treasury bond redemption on XRPL, which took only about 4 seconds.
EVM sidechain extension: XRPL EVM sidechain is now online.
Possible lending tools: New DeFi protocol may bring users back on the chain.
If any of the above narratives warms up, chain activity will increase. Sanitation speculates that this may push XRP back around $1.50.
More XRP messages
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed additional legal materials during the remedial phase of its litigation against Ripple, focusing on the final fine and the scope of any injunction. This procedural step maintained the pressure but did not resolve the core issue. The case is still ongoing and the final outcome is still uncertain.
In addition, Xaif Crypto\'s data shows that there has been a significant redistribution of XRP\'s net exchange traffic. Coinbase\'s share fell from about 28% to 1.8%, while Bittrex surprisingly held nearly 30%-a multi-month high. This all happened while XRP prices were stabilizing at $1.10.
This is a signal worthy of attention. The flow of XRP from a large regulated exchange to smaller platforms may indicate that some holders are moving their XRP to less regulated venues. This is not a bullish signal. When large amounts of XRP flow to exchanges with less institutional supervision, it often signals imminent selling pressure.
Where may XRP prices go this weekend?
The market is in wait-and-see mode. XRP is trapped in a narrow range between $1.08 and $1.17. On-chain activity is at a low level not seen since 2024. Traders are sitting tight.
Bullish scenario: If any catalyst appears-such as positive Act of Clarity news, RLUSD growth data or a broader market rebound-XRP could break through $1.17 and target $1.22. Trading volume needs to be significantly improved.
Neutral scenario: This is the most likely outcome for the weekend. XRP prices continue to trade between $1.08 and $1.12. Trading volume was sluggish. The direction is unknown. Traders wait for next week.
Bear scenario: If the SEC case turns negatively, or the broader market weakens, XRP could fall below $1.08 and test $1.05. The next support level below it is $1.00.
