Where may Hedera (HBAR) prices go this week

In our previous HBAR weekly forecast, we pointed out that the Hedera price would need to exceed US$0.0757 to open the door to US$0.078, and if buyers continue to control the situation, US$0.080 would become the next major target. However, this did not happen. Buyers failed to break through the resistance level, failed to hold $0.073, and the bears ultimately won. HBAR is currently trading at US$0.0677, down 2.25% in the past 24 hours, underperforming other cryptocurrencies. The main trigger was a $9.05 million attack on the Bonzo Lend agreement, which shook market confidence in the Hedera DeFi ecosystem. This week, everyone is watching whether buyers can hold on to recent lows or whether HBAR will continue to fall.

The key factor driving Hedera prices this week

The biggest pressure on HBAR prices came from the $9.05 million attack on the Bonzo Lend agreement on July 11. The attacker used a vulnerability in the third-party Supra oracle to manipulate the SAUCE token price, thereby stealing USDC and the encapsulated version of HBAR. The incident caused Hedera's total locked value (TVL) to shrink by nearly 40% in one day, triggering a new round of selling as users withdrew funds.

It still provides some support in terms of institutional needs. Canary's HBAR ETF (HBR) received a net inflow of $989,000 on July 2, the strongest one-day inflow since May 15. Cumulative net inflows are currently close to US$93 million and net assets are approximately US$49 million, indicating that regulated investors are still increasing exposure through exchange-traded products.

Long-term prospects remain supported by regulatory progress. Since the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) classified HBAR as a digital commodity in March 2026, new products such as the Canary HBAR Spot ETF and the Hashdex Index ETF have expanded access channels for institutional investors. A clearer regulatory environment continues to remove obstacles for large investors concerned about HBAR prices.

What does the Hedera chart show?

We checked the Hedera chart and found that HBAR prices had fallen below the support area that remained for most of last week. The encounter near $0.0757 said it all-buyers simply didn't have enough motivation to maintain the rebound, and the bears took over.

This decline has pulled HBAR back into the $0.067 - 0.068 region, which is where buyers last appeared. Therefore, this level this week is a key point to pay attention to. If buyers hold on to the area again, we may see another attempt to rebound.

But since the Bonzo Lend attack, the situation has become unstable. Prices continue to hit lower highs and lower lows, a clear sign of the dominance of bears. As HBAR fell, trading volumes were also increasing, meaning people were firmly selling.

For buyers, to turn things around, they first need to push HBAR back above $0.070, then $0.073. After breaking these levels,$0.0757 will come back into view. Until then, it's best to be cautious.

Where will Hedera prices go this week?

Bullish situation: If buyers pull HBAR back above $0.070 and break past $0.073,$0.0757 may be retested. After breaking this resistance level, the next target may be $0.078.

Neutral scenario: Most likely, HBAR will hover between US$0.067 and US$0.070, and the market is digesting the impact of the Bonzo incident and waiting for the next move. The inflow of ETF funds may help stabilize the situation.

BELOW: If US$0.067 fails to hold, HBAR may fall to US$0.065. If the overall sell-off in the cryptocurrency market intensifies, US$0.063 - 0.064 will become the next bottom.

FAQs

Is HBAR a good long-term investment? This depends on the investor's goals and risk tolerance. Many investors focus on Hedera because of its corporate partnerships, fixed 50 billion token supply and focus on regulated real-world application scenarios, but cryptocurrency investment remains volatile.

Can Hedera reach $10? Reaching $10 is considered a highly speculative and mathematically ambitious goal for Hedera (HBAR). To achieve this goal, its market value needs to exceed US$350 billion to US$500 billion.
