BNB Chain ranks first in stablecoin activity, with 15 million users highlighting key market division

BNB Chain leads all blockchains with 15 million active stablecoin addresses per month, reflecting strong retail adoption and expanding ecosystem participation in multiple markets. Lower transaction fees drive higher user activity, while Ethereum has attracted more large institutions to transfer money despite having fewer active stablecoin addresses overall. Although BNB prices have improved, they remain below the main moving average, highlighting the gap between network growth and market performance.

According to Binance Research and Dune, BNB Chain has become the leading blockchain for stablecoin activity, with approximately 15 million active stablecoin addresses per month. The network has surpassed all major competitors in terms of user engagement. However, this milestone also highlights the important difference between user activity and capital concentration in the blockchain ecosystem.

The latest data shows that since 2021, BNB Chain's stablecoin user base has expanded significantly. Its adoption has accelerated over the past few years, allowing the network to surpass leading blockchains such as Ethereum and Solana in the number of monthly active stablecoin addresses. Stablecoins remain at the heart of the digital asset market because they support transactions, payments, cross-border transfers, and decentralized finance. As a result, increased user activity often reflects greater ecological engagement and broader network practicality.

However, the number of active addresses alone does not fully reflect the performance of the blockchain. Although BNB Chain leads in user engagement, other networks still attract more large institutional transactions and larger funding.

Retail activities drive BNB Chain's leadership position

BNB Chain's low transaction fees and easily accessible infrastructure encourage widespread retail participation. As a result, many users perform small transactions more frequently than on higher-cost networks. In contrast, Ethereum records fewer active stablecoin addresses, but handles large transfers from institutional investors and high-value participants. Therefore, low address activity does not necessarily mean weak economic activity.

This distinction is important because blockchain adoption can be measured in different ways. Active users demonstrate network coverage and usefulness, while transaction value, liquidity and stablecoin market value reveal the concentration of larger capital pools.

Therefore, BNB Chain's leadership position reflects strong retail engagement rather than overall dominance across all stablecoin indicators. BNB's market performance has not yet reflected its expanding user base. The cryptocurrency is trading around $573, after several months of forming lower highs and lower lows.

In addition, BNB is still below its 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages. This technical pattern suggests that buyers have not yet fully reversed the broader downward trend.

Even so, momentum has improved. The Relative Strength Index has recovered to the neutral 50 level, indicating that selling pressure has eased. However, the 50-day index moving average (about $579) remains the primary resistance level. Above this, the 100-day and 200-day moving averages constitute additional hurdles that bulls must overcome.

Conclusion

BNB Chain's growing stablecoin user base consolidates its position as the network with the highest number of monthly active addresses. However, the latest data also suggests that high engagement does not automatically translate into higher capital concentration, allowing investors to weigh strong adoption rates against BNB's still-cautious technical outlook.
