BNB Chain has 15 million monthly stablecoin users, leading the market
According to data from Binance Research and Dune, BNB Chain continues to lead the stablecoin market, with monthly active stablecoin addresses reaching 15 million, far exceeding other public chains. This strong online activity has made it a blockchain leader in terms of stablecoin users, dwarfing other industry giants.
What drives BNB Chain's user growth?
Since 2021, BNB Chain's user base has grown significantly, highlighting its status as the preferred platform for stablecoin trading. Compared to peers such as Ethereum and Solana, the number of active addresses on BNB Chain is unmatched. Initially, the proportion of active users was not high, but the platform's continued growth suggests a growing preference for BNB Chain capabilities.
stablecoins are traditionally used for transactions, payments and DeFi activities and play a key role in the blockchain economy. Although the increase in stablecoin activity indicates increased liquidity and ecosystem participation, it does not reflect the whole picture.
Is high user activity equal to economic impact?
It is misleading to think that high user activity in BNB Chain inevitably means greater capital flow. Despite leading the number of active users, the network does not have the largest stablecoin market capitalisation or transaction volume, nor does it have the level of institutional participation of platforms such as Ethereum.
The appeal of BNB Chain lies in its ease of use and low transaction costs, encouraging small and frequent transactions. In contrast, Ethereum, although it has fewer active users, has a huge flow of funds, implying larger institutional transactions.
For market observers, this reflects a key insight: While strong address activity suggests increased Internet use, the impact of capital must be combined to fully understand the economic contribution.
BNB market prices are under pressure?
The market price of BNB is facing resistance and has recently stabilized at around US$573 after continuing to fall. Despite the recent stabilization signal from the Relative Strength Index (RSI), BNB still faces challenges and is below the key moving average, suggesting that the overall downward trend continues.
Current market resistance is near the 50-day index moving average (approximately US$579). However, buying enthusiasm has not yet been able to push prices beyond strong resistance to long-term moving averages.
Analysis Conclusions
Analysis conclusions include: BNB Chain focuses on low costs and has cultivated a large number of retail participation. Although the Ethereum network has fewer users, it attracts higher financial activity. There are significant differences in user adoption patterns between BNB Chain and Ethereum. BNB Chain has demonstrated unique dynamics in the blockchain space, with unparalleled user activity, but differs from competitors in terms of economic robustness and adoption indicators, driving different investor sentiment and valuation views.
