Robinhood's new blockchain is developing rapidly, and Arbitrum has benefited significantly.
The new blockchain launched by digital brokerage Robinhood has a strong start, and its positive effects are being transmitted to Arbitrum, the second-layer network of Ethereum. According to CoinDesk data, on Wednesday, July 9, Arbitrum's native token ARB rose 19%, becoming the best-performing asset among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. At the same time, online trading activity on Robinhood Chain surged.
According to blockchain data from Entropy Advisors, the Robinhood Chain built based on the Arbitrum technology stack was opened to the public a week ago. The transaction volume exceeded US$568 million on Wednesday and Sunday, and the transaction volume exceeded US$350 million on Thursday alone. The growth was mainly driven by the minecoin trading boom, while the balance of stablecoin on the network quickly climbed to more than $260 million in the first week.
