AIxCrypto Holdings strategically withdraws from crypto assets and fully shifts to the robotics field
AIxCrypto Holdings, a well-known American technology company, announced that it has decided to completely liquidate its digital asset portfolio, a move marking the company's official end of its cryptocurrency treasury strategy. This significant development was disclosed in an amendment to Form S-1 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 4, 2026.
What assets were sold?
Theannouncement details the sale of its digital assets. As of August 31, the company had sold a significant proportion of Bitcoin (33.49), Ethereum (497.56) and Solana (6,325.92). In addition, assets with smaller positions such as Chainlink, Binance Coin and Cardano are included. The company reported an unrealized loss of approximately 50% on the portfolio, indicating that its strategic focus has shifted away from these positions.
In regulatory filings, the company's share of XRP is determined to be negligible. This suggests that losses were mainly affected by falling prices of large-cap cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. AIxCrypto Holdings has launched the process of fully liquidating its digital asset portfolio, marking the end of its crypto vault plans.
Business Transformation and Industry Trends
AIxCrypto Holdings is historically rooted in the pharmaceutical industry and plans to restructure its business model after selling devalued assets. The company aims to fully transition into the robotics market through its RoboShare platform, which will become a new focus for its growth in the robotics industry.
Such developments are not isolated. Other small listed companies have also cleared altcoin losses to maintain core operations. Japanese company Remixpoint previously cleared all altcoin positions, including Ethereum, Solana, DOGE and 1.19 million XRPs, retaining only bitcoin and investing the proceeds in energy storage systems. Such actions are more in line with balance sheet priorities adjustments than market panic.
These sales actions reflect a strategic shift: Companies facing operational pressure are looking to mitigate losses, while large capital groups are pursuing digital assets in different ways.
Has institutional interest shifted?
Meanwhile, the Dynamics Fund disclosed its direct holdings in Ripple Labs Series A preferred stock in SEC filings, indicating that some institutional investors prefer to choose equity in the issuing company rather than trading volatile tokens. On the other hand, Evernorth, an XRP-focused treasury company, has approximately 473 million XRPs on its balance sheet and is preparing to list on the Nasdaq through a SPAC merger. Evernorth is one of the few large institutional structures built around XRP positions.
This situation shows that the market has not experienced a comprehensive withdrawal of digital assets, but has become more cautious about capital utilization. There is a clear difference between small companies divesting assets to maintain operations and investors taking a targeted and institutional approach to positioning themselves.
