Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong: Bitcoin may have hit bottom and is expected to return to an upward trend in the next one to two years.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said that in the current market cycle, Bitcoin may have passed the bottom zone. He predicts that Bitcoin will re-enter the upward channel in the next one to two years.

In an interview in Singapore, Armstrong assessed the future prospects of the cryptocurrency market. The Coinbase executive pointed out that he believes Bitcoin has reached a cyclical bottom and a new upward trend could start in the next 12 to 24 months.

In addition, Armstrong revealed that a final agreement on the Clarity bill, which aims to regulate the U.S. cryptocurrency market, is close to being reached. He said he expected clearer regulatory guidance from the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to be issued in the next week or two, regardless of whether the bill passed Congress.

Armstrong also announced that Coinbase is preparing to launch tokenized stock services in the United States, emphasizing that work in this area is an important part of the company's future plans.

According to Armstrong, there are four major trends that will drive the growth of the crypto sector by 2027. These trends include stablecoin-based payments, tokenization of stocks and real-world assets, predictive markets, and Smart Agent Finance.

Coinbase CEO believes these areas will increase mainstream adoption in the cryptocurrency ecosystem and will become key drivers of market growth in the coming period.
