After the U.S. Federal Reserve raised its policy rate by 25 basis points, one of the most significant market developments in the cryptocurrency market, Zcash (ZEC). ZEC's price soared in a short period of time, breaking through $1380 on Binance. In the past 24 hours, ZEC has gained approximately 17.7%, trading at approximately $1333, and its market value reaches approximately $22.5 billion. However, this volatility is not entirely attributable to the Fed's decisions. In terms of Zcash, the NU7 governance voting results announced on the same day have also become an important positive factor driving price increases.
Historical highs versus
On the other hand, the current price level has not reached Zcash's historical high. CoinGecko data shows that ZEC hit a historical peak of approximately $3192 in October 2016, while CoinMarketCap showed its highest price at approximately $5942.
