ETH Bitget gradually resumes coin withdrawal services: BTC has been opened, and ETH is scheduled for September 29.
According to Bitget's official support announcement, after a security incident, the exchange is gradually resuming coin withdrawal services by asset class. Currently, the Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawal function has been launched, and Ethereum (ETH) withdrawal service is expected to resume on September 29.
BTC withdrawal has been reopened
Bitget confirmed that the Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawal channel has been fully opened, becoming the first major asset to resume trading in the exchange's batch restart plan. Instead of announcing that all tokens can be withdrawn at one time, the exchange adopts a "asset-by-asset" communication strategy, which means issuing separate availability notices based on the specific circumstances of each asset.
It has been previously reported that the restoration of the BTC withdrawal service was carried out after identifying and fixing the hacking vulnerability that led to the suspension of withdrawal. Restoring Bitcoin withdrawals in preference to stablecoins or other assets reflects the exchange's orderly and phased approach to service restoration.
ETH withdrawal is scheduled for September 29
According to the communication information released by the exchange, the Ethereum (ETH) withdrawal service is scheduled to resume on September 29. It should be noted that "planned date" is not the same as "officially launched status". Before attempting to withdraw coins from ETH, users must verify the current availability status directly on the Bitget platform.
