Meta launches enterprise-level AI platform to focus on institutional customer markets

Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), announced on September 28 that the technology giant is launching a new service called the "Meta Enterprise Platform" that aims to sell artificial intelligence (AI) tools to corporate customers.

Zuckerberg said that the initial focus is to bring the complete technology stack to customers, including tools such as Muse Agents, Meta Business Agents, Muse APIs, and Muse Code. Muse is an AI agent designed by Meta to perform multi-step tasks across the Internet and applications. It can answer questions, complete tasks, browse the web, make purchases, generate images, create documents, set reminders, and track goals on behalf of users.

Blackstone predicts AI agents will drive demand for digital assets

Meta's latest business announcement came only days after Blackstone released a major forecast last week. The Wall Street giant released a report titled "The Native Economy of Machines," predicting that the rise of proxy AI may become an "undervalued source" of growth in demand, utility and applications for digital assets.

The

report points out that as AI agents begin to conduct transactions independently, what they need is payment systems designed for machines rather than humans. Blackstone wrote: "Proxy commerce requires machine-native payment rails," and said stablecoins, native cryptocurrencies and other on-chain assets can be used for payments and settlements.
