BTC Tether 今年已协助冻结近 5.5 亿美元与伊朗相关的 USDT，美国制裁行动持续扩大
稳定币巨头 Tether 于周一宣布，今年以来，该公司已协助美国当局冻结了将近 5.5 亿美元的与伊朗相关的 USDT。Tether 详细披露了两起相关事件。
第一起事件发生在四月，当时 Tether 根据财政部海外资产控制办公室（OFAC）和美国执法部门提供的信息，锁定了两个 TRON 地址中超过 3.44 亿美元的 USDT。2024 年 4 月 24 日，OFAC 将这两个地址列入伊朗中央银行的制裁名单条目中。该条目将伊朗中央银行与伊斯兰革命卫队（IRGC）圣城旅以及真主党联系起来。
7 月 14 日，OFAC 将另外四个 TRON 地址添加到同一制裁条目中。Tether 随即冻结了这四个钱包中的超过 1.3 亿美元的 USDT。这两次冻结行动的总金额超过 4.74 亿美元。Tether 的公告并未列出其余被冻结资金的具体明细。
Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 表示：“公共区块链为当局提供了现金所不具备的资金流动透明度，当执法部门提供可信信息时，Tether 能够采取行动。”
财政部将加密货币列为制裁目标
今年六月，美国财政部制裁了伊朗最大的加密货币交易所 Nobitex。美方称该平台帮助伊朗中央银行获取稳定币，以支撑不断贬值的里亚尔汇率。
Subsequently, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent launched Operation Economic Outcast on August 24 to target the Iranian regime's financial networks. Its sectoral sanctions are identified in five areas, first of all digital assets, technology, gold, aviation and shipping. The U.S. Treasury Department noted that Iran is increasingly using cryptocurrencies to circumvent sanctions, including for IRGC-related transactions.
On September 17, OFAC sanctioned Iranian cryptocurrency exchange BitBank, saying the exchange was controlled by sanctioned financier Babak Zanjani. The U.S. Treasury Department accused BitBank of transferring hundreds of millions of dollars in bitcoin (BTC) to IRGC during June and July.
Tether also responded to Israeli clues.
Tether said that it has been cooperating with Israel's National Anti-Terrorist Financing Agency (NBCTF) for many years. The bureau has referred more than 40 cases to Tether, and Tether has frozen more than $22 million in USDT.
In September 2025, NBCTF announced 187 cryptocurrency addresses that it believed belonged to IRGC. Blockchain analytics company Elliptic reported that the addresses received USDT worth $1.5 billion, and Tether blacklisted 39 of them and froze approximately $1.5 million they held. Although Elliptic pointed out that some addresses may belong to crypto service providers that manage funds for many customers.
