The claim that Coinbase concealed $25 million in losses from the BlockTower Fund reached only three independent publishers-CryptoBriefing, Protos and The Cryptomist EN-in approximately 15 hours. This is one of the cases with the narrowest spread in this group of data, and it also belongs to the category with shorter time intervals. Short intervals coupled with a low number of publishers send a very different signal than short intervals coupled with a high number of publishers: This suggests that the story was republished because Ari Paul publicly filed allegations, rather than because a second newsroom independently verified the underlying vulnerability. Coinbase has not released a detailed public response, and there is no independent audit support behind the data. This combination, which has neither been confirmed by the company nor verified by outsiders (other than repeating one person's words), is why this is a story that requires continuous observation rather than being regarded as a given fact.

In this edition, the fastest-spreading and most widespread stories are based on documents rather than the two stories based on allegations and independent reports. Coinbase's accusation of concealing losses remains the least corroborated, and its next development will be the most illustrative.
