SpaceX Bitcoin Wallet Awakens: Microtest transactions signal the next step?

Arkham Intelligence reported today that a wallet labeled SpaceX made a microtest transaction after being dormant for about six months. The wallet address, identified as SpaceX (15atF), sent approximately $88 worth of Bitcoin to another wallet that begins with bc1q9.

Although the transaction amount is extremely small, the market has begun to pay close attention because corporate-associated bitcoin wallets usually do not transfer assets for no reason. Small transactions are often used to test address control or custody settings.

SpaceX just transferred Bitcoin

An address marked as SpaceX transferred Bitcoin for the first time after six months of silence. SpaceX (15atF) sent SpaceX (bc1q9) a test transaction worth $88 in Bitcoin. Will SpaceX transfer more Bitcoin?

There is currently no indication that the company is preparing to sell. It is worth noting that it sends Bitcoin to another owned wallet, which may also be just an internal asset adjustment.

Currently, SpaceX holds 18,712 bitcoins worth approximately US$1.16 billion, ranking eighth among companies in terms of currency holdings. In addition, the company recently completed a historic initial public offering and was officially included in the Nasdaq 100 Index yesterday. The index is one of the most watched technology benchmarks in the world and is the basis for countless funds and investment products that track its performance.
