Robinhood Chain Fees Help Arbitrum

Arbitrum confirms that it will charge 10% of the protocol fees for L2 networks such as Robinhood Chain

Offchain Labs, the developer of Arbitrum, has confirmed that 10% of the net protocol fees incurred by Robinhood Chain and other Layer 2 networks built based on the Arbitrum technology stack will flow back into the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Fee allocation mechanism

The specific allocation of the fee is as follows: 8% goes to the Arbitrum DAO vault and 2% goes to the Arbitrum Developers Guild. This arrangement is part of the Arbitrum Extension Plan (AEP).

Under the AEP license agreement, any Arbitrum chain deployed outside of Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova must pay 10% of its agreement net income to the Arbitrum Foundation.

The Developer Guild aims to motivate developers who contribute to the Arbitrum codebase, and 2% of the funds will be dedicated to this purpose.

For $ARB token holders, this revenue-sharing model directly links value accumulation to ecosystem growth, creating a more lasting incentive mechanism than one-time grants.

Robinhood Chain is officially launched

With the announcement of the fee agreement, Robinhood Chain has been launched in Robinhood wallet, and users can now use cross-chain bridging and redemption functions.

The public chain main network will be launched on July 1, 2026 and announced during Robinhood\'s \"The World is Flat\" keynote speech held at the Old Royal Naval College in London. Previously, 4 million transactions were recorded in the first week of its public test online launch.

Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built on the Arbitrum technology stack, designed for tokenization of real-world assets and 24/7 financial services.

First-day partners include Uniswap, which deploys a dedicated automated market maker as the main public liquidity protocol; in addition, the deep integration of Alchemy, BitGo and Chainlink enables the chain to achieve fast out-of-block times and provides out-of-the-box DeFi primitives such as lending capabilities.

Robinhood previously deployed tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Arbitrum One in 2025. Today, the Arbitrum based Layer 2 chain focuses on tokenized stocks, real-world assets and on-chain financial services.
